Frequently Asked Questions

  • What martial arts do you teach?

We currently teach Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling and Kickboxing.

  • We train in both Gi and No-Gi. On No-Gi training days (see schedule for details), feel free to wear comfortable and flexible shorts or sweatpants with a t-shirt or rashguard. If wearing spats, shorts are required to be worn over them. T-shirt or rashguard required. If you don't yet own a Gi, No-Gi attire is fine.

  • Shower using antibacterial/antifungal soap before and after class, wash your Gi & Gi belt after each use. This is required to prevent foul odors and helps to reduce the chances of developing Ringworm/Staph or other skin infections. Fingernails must be trimmed to minimize scratches. Use of deodorant and brushing your teeth before class is strongly recommended.

  • Children 5 and over are welcome to train.
